  1. Does not suit in budget

Posted by Gurbinder on 15th May 2011

Need to spend much for cool cabinet and extra fans. I am not happy because does not suit my budget even though the processor is great piece from Intel. Intel guys plz gv us a cool processor next time when you introduce a new processor. I will prefer i5 rather.

  2. Needs extra fans

Posted by Jayakumar ; Adyar on 4th May 2011

i7 wont perform well with out extra cooling fans in ur case.. i had heating issues with this cpu.. then now added extra 3 fans in my case now thinking about liquid cpu cooler.. Too much extra spending to make it run.. Intel used to claim their processors are pretty cool. Now they ought to gv an explanation or stop telling such things in future. performance is great but temp shoots upto 60 C in 15 min of gaming.

  3. ULTIMATE PERFORMER

Posted by Prtk on 26th Apr 2011

Awesome gaming experience with mobo msi p67a
    over-clocked to 4.9 with stock cooling (7 fans )
    temp remains stable at 72

  4. Not so Bad

Posted by Indu Kumar on 20th Apr 2011

It is not so bad processor.. i do accept there is heating issues with i7 in most of the case. But if you can buy a good cool cabinet and HSF Intel still leads the race. And my personal advice don't try too much of over clocking with Intel processors like AMD black edition processors. Work with what is given. You will be happy. And for best out come get a good Graphic Card too.

  5. U wil never forget how bad it was

Supply my guns... Not a dolter it is a machine gun man.......
If you want fun and you always want to cook it up to the maximum , then you should buy this processor. Do not look at the i7 extreme series gamers , buy this one and don't forget to hook it up with a P67 board ment for gamers and over clockers , the latest P67 boards should have B3 badge..... Buy it and enjoy the bridge of overwhelming sand
